Frustrating internet infrastructure
Thursday, September 13th, 2007Since I am very dependent on the internet, I made sure I have at least two ISPS with using dial up connection. Recently however, since it has been excruciating slow to work on a dial up I finally got broadband at home.
Was very happy on my first week but later on trouble began. It was a good thing I havent given up one of my unlimited dial up accounts so I am able to go online now but I had been having horrible broadband/DSL support.
Have no choice but to try and contact friends inside the telco to help me out. I was really screaming as no one lifted a finger to fix my connection. All I got were ‘robotic’ answers.
I really hate it when I am asked what is my account no? How do you expect me to memorize my account number? I must have dozens of them - from bank account numbers, cable TV, ISPs, credit card etc.
I am just frustrated I need to blog about it. I guess its the infrastructure of the country because I know I am not the only one with this predicament.
