I finally upgraded wordpress!
Friday, January 2nd, 2009After almost a year, I was finally able to upgrade my wordpress version including theme. Took hours trying to study how to back up then I read that my hosting could have its own back up program. I checked and there it was!
Gosh to think I had to download some softwares and tried tinkering with so many technical stuff in my control panel!
Anyway the wordpress version currently in Bluehost’s fantastico is one version lower than the latest which is 2.6. I just contended with that lest I lose all my data.
I tried downloading a couple of new themes then finally settled with what I have now called “german newspaper”. Even if the tabs below are not yet working I guess this will do as I really wanted a magazine type of theme where images can also be manipulated.
Now next to upgrade would be my other three blogs - Maan’s Travels, Catholic Pilgrim and Spa and Wellness Blog (which was hit by a virus of sorts).
Below is the last header I used for a former theme. It was just up for more than a week
