Air France launches in-flight cell phone trial
Friday, December 21st, 2007This article in my inbox caught my fancy. Two years ago I was so thrilled when I learned I could surf inside the plane when I took the Lufthansa flight to Germany. At least I said to myself I can answer all my emails during the long flight as well as have another alternative to watching movies.
Unfortunately, the socket on my seat was defective so when the battery ran out thats it. Wish I could try at least using sms on flights. Right now, there is an option to calling out but using the plane’s device and at a very costly rate.
